It seems that using the trial and error strategy didn't work so well for you, but I am pleased you managed to find the answer when you tried harder. A strategy always helps e.g. when I did it, I started with 8 in the top left corner and tried the combinations with that. Then when it didn't work I tried 6. This is because I knew that division needed a bigger number at the beginning.
